And I guess you should go tie yourself to a tree.
If you find yourself getting wet... it's raining.
If you develop icicles... it's below freezing.
If you are blown sideways then dropped... it's a severe wind gust.
If you find yourself twirling in circles, it's a tornado.

If we're lucky, SOMD might only get a glancing blow of what's coming.
I just checked weather.com and from the way the storm's tracking we MIGHT only get the edge of the storm. Hopefully just a little wind; a little rain.
Hey, gotta be optimistic, right?
I just know if I hear a train comin', my a** is in the bathtub under a mattress. I remember what it sounded like when Isabel "walked through" my yard.

Statement as of 8:20 PM EST on February 11, 2009
The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
District of Columbia

southwest New York
central Pennsylvania
northern and central Virginia

I hope these storms wreck town. Not hoping anyone dies, but I hope it causes enough damage for them to close schools and government here so I can get the day off to watch the twin 150s.
