We do. At leasy mt 13yo does. Poor thing. She had the vaccine so I figured we were ok. Apparently it gets weaker after 4 years and in 1 in 10 people it doesn't even take at all. That's why they now recommend getting two doses vs. the one dose she got. I don't even know where she picked it up as I haven't heard of anyone with it recently. Just putting it out there so people can check their kids vaccine status.

Spring/Easter is the time for chicken pox. Never failed, we always had one kid in the family with chicken pox near Easter.

Iv'e had them 6 times and the shingles 3 times- just a fluke my body does not build immunity to them.

I woke up on Easter morning in 2001 with chicken pox all over, and I was an adult. Never had chicken pox as a kid and never received vaccine.
