Mojo was kidding! :smack:

Green door is a college bar by St. mary's, but i've never been. Heard it's decent for the younger crowd. I've mainly been to Donovan's and ABC which are fine when you're out with a group. I've gotten mixed reviews about Dew Drop but it sounds like another place to hit up.

yeah i've got a very limited knowledge about the places around here...

No there's not.

It's even worse if you're a teenager. It's ####in' pathetic.

However, in about a month or so the Tiki bar opens up in Solomons.

If you can't get laid there, you should have your #### revoked.

The bar is closed, the store is open. I asked a few at work that live in that area and one gal I work with that works in the store part time. Story one is that the owner's are strapped, owe alot and can't stay afloat. Second one I heard was lot's of fights, money being taken etc. Last time I was there was 3 years ago. All the mom and pop bars are shutting down to make room for more liquer stores.

I've been 3-4 times to Pure... The Owners are nice (they are the same when it was Don S's Piano Bar... new name... new look...

I didn't see any problems with the crowd when I was there. The usually do live bands on Friday and a DJ on Saturday. Bands vary from Original to Cover bands.
------------------------------

Brewski's recently renovated (in the last 2 yrs) the place is very nice looking. It wasn’t a "paint the walls and roof and call it renovated”. They ripped out a few walls and built a nice horseshoe style bar and it really opened the place up. They also opened up the "back yard" and built a nice deck.
The bar is has a "relax" atmosphere, sit down at the bar have a drink and play some Keno. They do offer a place for bands to play at, but they don’t regularly bring in bands.

----------------

If you’re up for a drive, Calypso Bay in Tracy's Landing gets thumbs up, great crowd, friendly bar tenders... good music, they try and bring in "party" rock bands.

---------------

Hotel Charles is good... Every Saturday, they try and bring in 2 bands (1 on the small side and another in the big room), 99% of the time the band will be a cover band.

---------------

Big Dogs Paradise; the crowd here varies, as it will depend on the band that is playing. They are trying to go for the "race car" theme with diamond plate everywhere.

----------------

Vera’s is nice. It is a Cover Band bar. It just re-opened I haven’t had a chance to swing into the bar and check it out. But it was a nice bar, very “beach-tiki” setting.

---------------

I visit these bars often with different bands that I work with. I do adventure into Donavan, Dew Drop and Toots every once in a while with a group.

What is that place memories like? Do they have like 80's?
I went to pure, but they seemed like a closed kind of group. The guys wouldn't leave us alone.
AND WHERE IS HOTEL CHARLES? I can't find it and we looked for awhile.
Do they have a cancun cantina around here?
I went to Sails and have to admit. It was really good. It was dead until like 8. And then like 300 people all showed up in like 15 minutes. They must have a strict schedule there. LMAO Who is the guy who owns it. Anyone know?

MEmories has all kinds of music. Last night was a country band but they have everything from 80's hair rock to heavy metal. Some country, southern rock and classic rock but they are all pretty random. Check out MEMORIES Nightclub & Bar of Waldorf, MD (http://www.memoriesllc.com) and if you ever want to know about any of the bands ask me! I know them all!

When the bands are playing .. yup we are expensive but so are our bands. Got to pay them somehow. And i'm not trying to be a B*tch but beers are normally $3.00 so if you are complaining about a dollar then you should not be out drinking anyways.. plus that means you DONT tip well.

FYI 06-06-09 One louder will be there. But our beer prices will be the same. :ohwell:

My dog pees on the floor there when we go, lols.
we dont have beer pong so its ok :)

#### that. I like Flo-Rida but County better give me tickets if I'm gonna go.

My tax dollars are paying for that stadium instead of funding education like they're supposed to. :smack:

Yes ma'am...I'll have the beer tub by the smoking section. I'm also working there for some of the games and other concerts, including opening weekend.
