I have an idea....How about the JACKASSES in Chicago, California, Maryland and everywhere else stop spending tax payer money like a bunch of A-holes then in a panic search for mechanisms to fleece citizens to pay for the big deficit.

How about you just jack state and local taxes up to pay for it? Because they would get tossed out on their asses is your state tax went up to 20% on income so they come around and back-door it.

Just like the cigarette tax, as soon as they start with red light and surveillance cameras and the revenue doesn't appear they are going to tweak the system to look for other potential revenue streams like 2 mph over the speed limit, lane changes, spitting out the window or underinflated tires.

I'm just waiting for the next Big Brother move where everyone is implanted with RFID chips at birth. Now when you run a stop, instead of a grainy picture and the "I wasn't driving" argument, they have a digital signature. If cars can be tagged at 50 mph thru EZPass, so can a person.

I htink $500 is a LOT for an uninsured vehicle.. Amazing we pass laws that support an entire industry by forcing us to buy their product.. EVEN if you're rich enough to have financial responsibility of your own without it.
