I am looking for a place to take the family go-cart racing. Requirments are More then just 2 tracks. In Maryland or the surounding states. Any one have any ideas?
Or the best tracks. We went to one in Florida with a 2 level wooden track that was awsome. I would love to find something like that closer to Maryland. TIA!

There's a couple in Ocean City. It's about a 3 hour ride.

Thanks! Gatlinburg sounds like a good place for a short 4 day vacation. That might work. Have to tell hubby and the boy the watch out for those little girls. :lmao:
Ocean City is what the hubby suggested but "been there done that". Of course that is where we will probably end up.

a go kart track? (play around)
or a kart track? (real racing)

Myrtle Beach is a little closer and has the NASCAR speed park.

Maybe for a day trip --- There's one in Crofton on Route 3 (301) and there used to be one on Kenilworth Avenue in Bladensburg (not the best area) but it was a fun track.
Both of these tracks are just the run of the mill go-kart tracks, nothing fancy, but the kids enjoyed them.

I don't know what type of karting you're looking for but you could try New Jersey if you plan on being in the Philly/Atlantic City area.

Myrtle Beach is a little closer and has the NASCAR speed park.
They also have one in Gatlinburg. We are planning on going to it this summer when we visit Gatlinburg. Seems like all the NASCAR drivers make appearances at the Myrtle Beach one though.
