I think MW was slightly better than WaW- IMO. Both are incredible games- actually all of the CoD's were EXCEPT CoD3- that was just..... terrible.... MW2 is going to rock--

Modern warfare is the BOMB! WaW is OK and has some great extras but MW to me is the best.

I havent played COD4 since WaW came out... Still debating the purchase of the map pack. The maps will be free in a few months anyhow...

I think Treyarch sucks. They do not put out the same quality game as infinity ward. At the end of COD 4 when you beat the game and the credits roll the guy is raping about how much Treyarch sucks at making games.

OK Van, W@W is longer than MW. That was my only complaint with MW. It seems like the single player game was too short.

W@W is better.

Better detail. Better graphics. More games. More hardcore. More missions. Nazi Zombies. Co-op. A lot more tactical than Modern Warfare. A bit more acurate in kills too.

the market in Rio was by far the hardest part so far....

I picked it up 6 on Tuesday and beat it by 1 the same night on veteran. Meh, I thought the story sucked but I am pretty jaded because I just beat Uncharted 2 and that actually had a plot.

I've only had connection problems twice in multiplayer. I am having a blast, have 4-5 friends I play with, and while we aren't great we handle our own. It reminds me of how CS used to play except with more weapons, better graphics, better controls, more strategy.... ok maybe it doesn't play like CS at all.

Did you check the ingame resolution? Make sure you are not in a wide screen, or 4:3 setting for what ever monitor you are playing on.

I have adjusted the screen settings with no affect. By "in game" do you mean adjusting the settings within the game? If so, the problem is that I can't tell how to get to the settings since I can't read any of the text. Just want to make sure I understand your suggestion. Thanks!

I hate sniping and snipers. I work my way all the way across the map stealthy.......run over and dash into cover, peak around the corner and BOOM. Dead.

When I snipe I find a nice spot up high, concealed. shoot one guy or even just sit and wait SWISH. Knifed by someone who snuck up on me. :ohwell:


I had 3 pals who I played with a lot. We all kinda sucked but we talked and worked together and did fairly well. We have to hook back up because I quit playing for a while.

I love the Stinger rocket launcher and using the Cold Blooded Perk.

Those Helo's and Harriers dont stand a chance.

However I have never been able to take down a AC-130. Effer shoots off its Flares. Have to say. The developers did a great job recreating the effect. Looks just like this

I did the sticky grenade multi kill again. :lmao: I was coming around the corner in terminal and shot a guy, another one jumped out while I was reloading and scared the crap out of me. In a last ditch effort to get away I threw a grenade that stuck to him. he heard the beeping not knowing it was stuck to him and ran to get away thinking it was near him and he took it into the book store where 3 of his partners were massed by the door. When it went off I got 4 kills. :lmao:

We haven't had any problems starting a party, the problem is getting everyone that's in the party into the game. It throws people out constantly.

It does that too. One person starts the party and people can join but when you try to go into a game it randomly drops people or kicks the whole group back.

If you invite to a game some can get in, some can't. then if you try to enter a game some of those who did get dropped.

It is aggrevating.

It does that too. One person starts the party and people can join but when you try to go into a game it randomly drops people or kicks the whole group back.

If you invite to a game some can get in, some can't. then if you try to enter a game some of those who did get dropped.

It is aggrevating.

In the PC version, it looks at the ping.
I have problems with my group members joining.

Those games lose me in about 5 seconds. Just clueless. :buddies:

We haven't had any problems starting a party, the problem is getting everyone that's in the party into the game. It throws people out constantly.
Not sure about Xbox but if you're in Mosh pit it does that from time to time. If you're just in a regular playset you're usually fine, at least on PS3.

I love rockin' the scavenger perk. Pop a few guys with my red tiger M4A1, set up a few claymores and move across the way. Boom! Repeat until I get a Chopper Gunner and then watch them run like cockroaches.
