The Southern Maryland Red Cross will offer a Pet First Aid Class on Saturday April 18, 2009 from 1PM-4PM at Pepper's Pet Pantry in Solomons. Class size is limited to 10 people (there are already 6 people signed up).
The fee is $45 which includes book. Certificate awarded after class completion.
We are accepting post dated checks to hold place in class. Checks should be made out to the "American Red Cross".

I took it last year in Montgomery Co.

They use a doggie mannequin. Just like learning people CPR..execpt it is with a doggie mannequin!

Looks like I might have some issues getting a ride over there, so I may or may not make it this time around. Will you guys be doing this again sometime in the future?

I expect we will have them again. I requested checks from people to make sure they would show up. The Red Cross would be wasting their time if I only had a sign up sheet and then no one came!

somdrocks may i ask what happened to bobo that made him/her go so fast :(. I am sorry for your loss too. I know it has to hurt to say goodbye to your buddy. I know it was hard for me and there are times I call shadow picasso and shadow is a female. She reminds me so much of him with going after pebbles and not letting her rest as shes going to be 15 this october and she doesn't like to play anymore with her being up in age.
