IE7 has been giving me a problem forever. Long lag times, freezing up, eating CPU like a starving wolverine. So I got Google's Chrome instead and LOVE it! So far it's really stable and plays nicely with my other apps. :yay:

I guess I need to look at Chrome...but I use Gmail and G-Calendar and all the other G-apps that I wonder if I am not giving Google too much information. Sort of like Comcast knowing who I call, where I surf and what I watch!

I have been using Firefox for years and love it!

I am SO going to hate you for a moment :drama:

The one program that I have to have and google chrome doesn't let it load at all :ohwell:

Oh....firefox doesn't play well with it either....so, I am stuck with IE till they either figure out how to make them play together or I graduate....which ever comes first

IE 8 has been out for a while.

I downloaded it the other day and it was terrible buggy. I hated it.

Ok, I'm trying Chrome but now I need to get the ad blocker to work with it.

I am running IE7 on a Vista Ultimate Workstation with 8GB of ram. The memory size of it right now is 93Mb... I do get an occasional hangup where it grey's out, then it comes back after 10 seconds - not sure of what it is doing, but it happens about 2x a day but only if I have a lot of tabs going and remote windows. I also notice this with Outlook 2007 and Vista...

Now - my laptop is running Windows 7 x64 Beta and IE8 with 6GB of RAM. This thing runs circles around Vista and is faster than my XP workstation with 4GB of RAM.

Not sure of your O/S, but if it is Vista change over to Windows 7 when it is released. On the BETA I have had one issue which was resolved with a Windows Update...
