I was just on the site Data Entry Work : Earn $500 Daily Data Entry Work At Home! (http://www.DataCashToday.com) It sounds like really easy work but of course they want a registration fee of $39.95 to get started. Has anyone ever tried working for them? Is it a scam?

Have you been living in a box or a shoe? There have been reports on the news lately about these work from home scams. Think about it. They get 20 dumb dumbs throughout the country to pay that $39.95 fee every week and they've made $800. You're sitting there waiting by the mailbox for your package and they've done gotten your money and hauled ass.

They probably get 20 dumbs dumbs throughout the country every 8 hours. :ohwell:

I fell for a scam that was in the pennysaver ~3 years ago. It was supposed to be a package to build your resume and it was ~20-50$ (i dont remember). Anyway, I did the same thing of waiting by the mailbox, and it never came... For anything like this- look into the company- google them. It will only take 5min to verify a legit company...

I've never heard of making $500 a day unless your a high priced hooker and then it's $500 an hour or more. Sounds like a scam to me.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Been looking for YEARS. Have tried several. All being a rip off scam, unfortunately. Wished I would've stopped payig , but I wa s dreamer for those types of hyped up ads. Started our own business, though it may come with alot of work, better than being scammed and or working for someone else and watching it happen.

Like Judge Judy says, if it doesn't make sense, it's not true.

Rule number 1: Never pay money for a job.

Rule number 2: Just because it is on TV, in print or on the radio does not mean it is legit. All it means is someone paid money to put it on TV, in print or on the radio.

Rule number 3: Personal finance is a game played on the field of reality. The equipment required is between your ears.

etc, etc, etc . . .
