Since we have had a few posts asking about “what is the best bar…..” why don’t we start a post about the individual bars and describe what they are all about.

This Bar we are going to speak of is:
Back Road Inn "Cryer's" in Leonardtown

Here are a few questions to get the ball rolling:

How often do you go?

How is the entertainment? DJ, Live Music?

What is the average crowd like?
What about their Age?

How are their drinks?

Why is this place better than the others?
Is there anything you don’t like about this club?

It's in Compton, not Leonardtown. Huge difference believe it or not.

I don't go there often, but I used to be there quite regular.

They have DJ's, live music, bands, and a jukebox. Just call them up and check their schedule. They used to be the only bar in the area that booked Stiff Richard.

The average crowd depends on the day/night of the week. Locals during the week and everybody on the weekends.

They also have pool, cards, horseshoes, darts, softball, and they used to have shuffle bowl.

Drinks are on par with any other local place.

Love the place. Strongly dislike the owner. If you're a softball player it's a great place to hang. If you like to look at softball players it's a great place to hang.

You don't count.

I don't have any problems with him, but a lot of people can't stand him. He's kinda learned to keep his hands to himself as of late. His SO on the other hand, drives me bonkers.

Me too! :howdy: He doesn't tolerate any nonsense and can come across as a little gruff but he's a great guy. He said he might come to :gossip: with us. Talk about a party. :lmao:

I have no problem with her. She's just not a barfly type personality. She's not into chit chat and can come across as abrupt.

I used to tend bar for him when he had Leonardtown Wharf....Nine times out of ten if there was a fight break out, he'd be in the middle of it..:lmao:
Good old days..
