"Michelle Obama on Saturday encouraged the first full graduating class at the University of California, Merced, to better their communities by using the same determination they had shown in bringing her to campus.
“A few people may be wondering why did I choose the University of California, Merced, to deliver my first commencement speech as first lady,” Mrs. Obama said. “The answer is simple: you inspired me, you touched me.
“There are few things that are more rewarding than to watch young people recognize that they have the power to make their dreams come true. And you did just that.”
Mrs. Obama was drafted to speak here at the smallest, newest campus in the University of California system through a lobbying effort by students and their families. They peppered the White House with letters, videos and hundreds of Valentine’s Day cards.
“And let me tell you, it worked,” she said. “Because I’m here.”
The speech capped weeks of anticipation at the university for an event that left some students star-struck on a blazingly bright and hot afternoon."

Hmmmmm.... the horseface takes over 40 years to finally be proud of her country and then another year to two to be inspired. I wonder if anyone has thought to check her thyroid hormone level. She's just not firing on all 10 cylinders.

And remember, you don't have to accomplish a thing yourself if you marry well!!
A Black Hillary Clinton, just what we need..
So we can look forward to her running for the Senate on her husbands coat tails.. a presidential run of her own in 2016 or 2020..
They would have been better off asking a head of industry that actually accomplished something themselves despite their husbands..

Why not speak in California.
Her Momma's raising the kids , and it doesnt cost HER anything to fly out there, she is on the gubmint's dime.
Why shouldn't she be proud of her $300,000 dollar job at the hospital her husband earned it for her by sending them money.

Guess her husband won't be saying, "and let me tell you, if it had worked, you wouldn't be here" when he gives his commencement address at ND

I don't go back to that thread. It's to embarrassing to watch you try to recover from a hopeless trouncing. I understand there is a surgical procedure where they can take fat from your butt and inject it into your offending organ. There's plenty of butt in your case so I'd look into if I had your shrinking problem.

That's so sweet, still occupying your mind with finding ways to improve your friend's foreskins. But then you always have been a sensitive person, why just the other evening you told that biker that his testicles smelled just like Irish Spring. However, you wanting me to undergo an operation to increase the size of my penis sounds very self serving. And bit sad.....

And did you solve that short-cummin problem yet? I thought not, that's an adult potency solution you're incapable of.

I'm well aware that you would be happier if the plateau phase of your relationships could be extended but then, it's all about you isn't it?

I couldn't help but notice that you are referring back to a "fight club" thread for this post. Please take note of the fact that this thread is entitled "news and current events" and NOT "fight club". As there may be minors on the forum reading this category in preparation for a "current events" assignment in school, most of us would appreciate you a bit more if you move this discussion to "fight club" where it really belongs.
TIA!

Please refer to the OP and replies. Minors coming here for "current events" end up with them reading a lot of trash talk, especially from the right wing groupies. Most of them, like Lenny, use crude, graphic sexual innuendo or just inane demeaning descriptions when replying and/or arguing their "cases" in the regular forums. You haven't complained about that have you?
The parent who encourages their child to use this forum as an educational resource is an eccentric to say the least. Better to have the kids go to the actual news sites to get their current events.

Hit a nerve, huh? If you believe that it's better to go to the actual news sites for information instead of this forum, why do you bother to post news articles? Shouldn't people just be going right "to the actual news sites to get their current events"?
Any computer-literate middle-schooler can come up with this forum as a resource if they google. Children of that age group usually aren't adept at identifying valid news sites as opposed to "opinion" pieces. If you seriously believe that no children are reading this forum, you obviously don't know very much about that age group. Middle school and high school kids don't usually bother to ask Mom & Dad about computer resources for assignments. Many of them know more about computers than their parents do.
My original point still stands -- the kind of discussion that you were engaging in during part of this thread had no place in this particular forum. Attacking me doesn't change that point, it's only a foolish attempt at misdirection.
