Look what I found on my deck this morning...

The first pic is how I found it. (dead) I was thinking it was a garden snake until 2A picked it up and turned it over. It's about 14" long.

Now it looks like a baby boa. :shrug:

Snake ID

Kinda hard to tell with the poor quality of the pics but, looks to me, just an educated guess, like a "Sammy' or, maybe, an "Ed".

Yep, that definitely is a snake.

Black rat snakes do not eat copperheads. Eastern Kingsnakes, however, will eat other snakes on occasion.
