Looking to put some tadpoles in our pond, to help w/ the algea and skeeters. Anyone know of any places locally that sell them?

:yay: Find a local stream and scoop some up. Or find a neighbor that hasn't opened their pool yet there are probably some on their cover.

I had thought of that, and asked the local kids if they knew of any good spots. Kids always know where tadpoles are! They didn't know of anything in the area.... Someone needs to open a store for pond fish and such around here!

I went to Petco and bought 6 feeder minnows. I think they sell for about 13 cents each. they will devour those skeeters.

There is a puddle in the parking lot for the pond at Cedarville State Forest. There are tadpoles in the puddle.

Lots in our pool, we haven't started it up yet for the summer!
