"A seventeen-year-old boy is locked in an interrogation cell in Guantanamo. He breaks down crying and says he wants his family. The interrogator senses the boy is psychologically vulnerable and consults with a psychologist. The psychologist has evaluated the boy prior to the questioning and says, "Tell him his family has forgotten him."
The psychologist also prescribes "linguistic isolation" (not letting him have contact with anyone who speaks his language.) The boy attempts suicide a few weeks later.
On the eve of the boy's trial, the psychologist apparently fearing her testimony will only further implicate her, indicates she will plead the Fifth Amendment if she is called to the stand. The trial is postponed, leaving the boy in further limbo."

It never said anywhere as to what this 17 year old is accused of. If it's terrorism and murder. No brainer. Get the information.

I love it when he brings this, torture, back up again. Then, we can see, all over again, how absurd it is to be so upset about 2 bad guys who were made uncomfortable.
And gave up good info. Let's see the documents. Bring it.

:buddies:They just did the story because it's a "17" year old. So they can say, "look, we're torturing 17 year old kids now."

All good with me. I hope they bring this crap up once a week so we can further learn the truth; just how difficult this was and, in hindsight, how very well the administration actually did in handling this in context.
Bring it on. :buddies:

Not so big and bad now, is he? They probably don't tell him things like this at terrorist training camp.
If we were smart, which we're not, we'd videotape these little candy asses breaking down and crying for their Mommies, then broadcast it in as many places as we could. Perhaps some future warrior-wannabe would think twice before he runs off to the jihad.

Perhaps some future warrior-wannabe would think twice before he runs off to the jihad. It would probably help in the psychological warfare dept. When we release them back to their terrorist buddies, they'll probably be killed. :yay: But then we let them go in places like Bermuda and pay for it out of taxpayers money for their upkeep as well, so I guess the release part is not a big help.

this is torture? I wouldn't call it a walk in the park, but doesn't exactly sound like torture to me.

Hey now :nono: If some terrorist says it's torture, then it IS. I mean, geez, they made the kid cry and everything.

You know what occurred to me, though? The kid was just faking because he knew the media would pick up the story of some poor little boy being brutalized at the hands of the diabolical shrinks. Then folks like Nonno would spread it all over the 'nets and garner sympathy.
The kid probably doesn't even have a family.

Hey, I know... let's talk about partial birth abortion. I mean in the context of torture.
