I turned on my dishwasher and got a humming sound. I fiddled with the knob a bit and all started working.

Yesterday while out and about I walked into an appliance store just to guage what a diswasher costs these days should the need arise.

I took note of the prices and thought to myself how years ago I would dread the cost, now I just dread the spending.

The sales clerk approached me and said, "we offer really good financing right now" to which I responded, "I pay cash." She stammered for a minute, recovered, and said uncertainly "uh, we take that too!"

I had to chuckle at her response.

Financial Peace is a wonderful thing.

You should see the face of a car dealer when you say your going to write a number down and they can accept it or not and its a check.

Reminds me of many years ago, I had just gotten back from overseas and went into Stewarts in Baltimore (I said many years ago) and went to pay cash for a shirt, the clerk had to get her supervisor to show her how to do a cash transaction.
