On July 20 at 8:12 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Marshall Hall Road in Bryans Road for the reported shooting.
The investigation revealed Janet Cabezas, 51, shot her husband, Steven Cabezas, 54, during a dispute in their home. Janet Cabezas notified a relative, who called police. Janet Cabezas remained at the scene and officers quickly took her into custody.
I heard this on the radio this morning.

That is tragic! I wonder if it was one of those battered wives stories, where she has had enough abuse so shot him, even still very sad. BTW, not trying to be a smart ass, but what was the point of linking the story when you already had the whole story posted in your thread, Im just sayin'.

I left a little bit off and if I remember the rules for news articles, you have to link back to it. Maybe I'm wrong.

I know this is tragic but I have to mostly blame the STUPID WOMAN again! What the he!! is wrong with these women???? She had him charged and she "rescinded the court orders". Read this:
"...According to Maryland court records online, the couple has a history of domestic violence issues. In October 2008, records show Janet Cabezas lodged abuse complaints against her husband. During hearings, Steven Cabezas was ordered to leave the family's house, to surrender firearms and to have no contact with his wife. However, records also show the orders were temporary and Janet Cabezas appeared to have asked the court to rescind or dismiss them shortly after they were filed. Detective Brion Buchanan is investigating."
