We hired Beltway Paving of Waldorf, MD to pave our driveway... The driveway has sunk and cracked in over 10 places and now over a year later they refuse to admit any fault or provide any resolution and advised us to get a lawyer... Which we did...
All the details and pictures can be found here: Beltway Paving - ALERT! (http://www.BeltwayPaving.com)

Did they do the underlaying and the asphalt, or just the asphalt itself and the builder did the underlaying?
If they just came in and paved it is quite possible they are not responsible as the ones who prepared the base did a crappy job.
Reason I bring this up is if you get a driveway overlayed on an existing driveway and something happens to the new asphalt, the company is not responsible for damage cause by the base (old driveway) and I am pretty sure it would be the same for laying down asphalt on a base/underlay they did not prepare.
It sucks, but that is probably how it will play out - unless you get a REALLY good lawyer.

They came in and prepared the entire driveway and paved it... The came back during the process after we agreed on a price and they started and suggested that we order 2 more truck loads of gravel at an additional cost of $800... We took their suggestion and spend the extra $800...
This is what I had 4 months later...

That right there will make them responsible. :yay:
I know of a good lawyer, but I think he is retiring... you can try to give him a yell and see;

Thanks! We have a lawyer... At this point the best justice is the website so it doesn't happen to anyone else...

You were really lucky to get their company name as your domain. So anyone who thinks they are going to their website will see your experience.
