Here's Bud ... he's a second year resident for us. Not sure if the two bopsy twins are his spawn or if they just happened upon their new home.

Removed a very large bullfrog last weekend and deposited it elsewhere. Still have a couple smaller ones though. Also have at least 4 fish that no person placed in it. Some type of bird must have ate pregnant fish for lunch and deposited the eggs in the pond. Waiting for them to grow so that perhaps we'll be able to identify just what they are.

Why did you relocate it? Our insect population has decreased incredibly with the family of frogs we have now, and they don't bother the koi or goldfish in the ponds at all.

:buddies: And they're cool! I love hearing them in the evening. Not sure if I have that type of frog but I do have a gang of them, several are very big.

Landlords pond and he removed it. Don't know why but as I said there are still at least two smaller ones in there. He's here this weekend so if I see him I'll ask.

Thanks! Hubby just told me today that the two smaller ones are actually tree frogs, but they seem to be preferring the water over the trees. We're not running short on either (12 trees and 3 ponds on a quarter acre) so they have plenty of options. :yay:
How're you doing stranger!

The ones in the second pic? They don't look like tree frogs to me.

I don't know my frog species all that well, so you may be right. In looking up some frog pictures from our area just now, they don't look like any tree frogs native to here either. The look like bullfrog babies to me.
