i don't pet sit anymore. I gave it up. not worth my time for people who didn't want to pay the price i charged and have the money waiting there for me the day i started like it stated in my agreement that i had the people sign or them want to pay me by check when I really only took cash.

I 3rd bacon. He loves kids and dogs, the bigger and meaner the better. And his rates are cheap. 30 pack of beer and one stab wound is about all he charges for his services!

PLus bruno isn't used to being in a cage all day. She is used to being around people all the time.

He's watched a few people's dogs for them and house sat for them. This is why I suggested him.

She has people that work for her. She also sits herself.
I get daily reports, they pickup newspapers, change the lights, etc and call my cell for anything they do not think is ok. Every once in a while I get a picture message to show my dog is ok.

jp2854
09-11-2009, 09:02 AM
thanks bird dog. I will most likely be giving her a call in the next few weeks to get an apt set up if she can do it. I love pic message idea that way i know my baby is ok.

i have had a couple people ask me about having the dog go to someone elses house I think I would be up to doing it if the person wasn't gone for 8+hrs a day. Bruno has been left for 4hrs or 5hrs but never left all day she craves human attention and she also likes to play with other dogs too but i don't take her to the dog park or any of that due to not knowing how other dogs will behave and I don't want to see my baby get hurt. When others bring there dogs into the store she hangs with the dogs (if they are friendly).

Where are there apts in Scotland??

.. and you'd hafta comp someone gas $ to make that hike. I'd suggest a boarding kennel or a relative, not random people on the boards you've never met.

well there is only one other lady here other than myself and she likes the dog so i guess you got more wrong information.

jp2854

if she attacked him he wouldn't be able to talk about it because she knows how to bite and will draw blood and that is one thing she surely didn't do.

She wasn't very "friendly" with a Schwans guy - how about that? Is that better?

I don't know what it is that she doesn't like about him but there is something. well i only can guess she will draw blood because she is a strong dog and when i play tug of war with her she gets a good grip with her teeth and plus shes shredded a couple a few toys i had gotten for her to get to teh squeaker in a matter of minutes from me giving it to her.
