I just want to say to this daycare provider with her business's logo and name plastered on the side of her car that its not very good advertisement for you to leave a young child (2 at most and in a car seat in the back) being supervised by a slightly older child in the passenger seat (maybe 7 or 8) while you run into walgreens for a few things. I don't know if those were your kids or kids that were in your care as it was about 1030am, but if I were their parents and I knew this took place, I would be :tantrum: I hope you heard me go to the clerk at the counter to report it and that's why you were gone before I got back outside.

Where is this? Maybe near Waldorf? I live in St. Mary's and I don't think we have any Walgreens around here?

I agree that it isn't good to leave kids in the car.... ever. You never know if something will hold you up in the store and it just isn't worth it. Sure it's a little more hassle, but really - she could have carried the younger child in and the older one shouldn't have been a problem. It would have only taken her an extra minute to buckle the younger one back in. :bigwhoop:

Besides that - the 7/8 year old should have been in the backseat... in my opinion anyway - I think that is too young to be sitting up front, especially with the drivers around here.

In Maryland it's law that a child can't be left alone until they are 8 - at home or in a car - and they can't be left responsible for another until they are 13.
