I just moved to Mechanicsville from the hood (Waldorf) and I'm looking for a good vet and groomer for my 6yr old German Shepherd. Have a new house and she needs to be groomed more frequently, tired of furry tumble weeds all over the house. I let it slide at old house, not anymore.

Companion pet care is good, a little pricey. Tidewater vet is reasonable. Don't know much about groomers, all my animals are short haired.

I recommend St. Mary's as a vet. I recently started going to them and I already like them better than my old vet.

As for a groomer, I use Countryside's Pet Paradise off St. Andrew's Church Rd. I'm happy with them. Reasonable prices and they can normally get you in on the day that you want. My dogs are normally done quickly but then again, they are both short haired. I don't know how long they would need for a German Shepherd.
