What would make Internet Explorer (vs. 7, I think) throw an abnormal runtime error? Seems to be happening fairly frequently recently on the laptop I use.

The fact that it's a Microsoft product?

Might be a compatability issue. If this is your home PC, just download V8 and set all pages to compatability view. This should ensure that you don't get the errors.

Also, make sure that you have the latest version of java installed.

:lmao: I can't trash Gates too much, my cousin works for them.

this was my reaction, too!

Are the bugs worked out of V8 yet? What menu option lets me set the pages to compatibility view? If you just give me the first link to click, I can figure it out from there.

Firefox is already installed as it was the only way that I could use somd's chat function on the one laptop so I just installed it on both.

Also, make sure that you have the latest version of java installed.

Thanks -- I try to do this so I can access other things.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I'll be trying it all out when I get back to the other laptop -- don't have access to it for a few days for other reasons.
