I've seen a few scattered around the area and thought they were pretty cool looking. Any one on here have one? Are they worth the price you pay? Do they hold up pretty well? Pros/Cons?
I'm looking to replace my goose (the kind that you dress up in funny costumes) that suffered a nasty beheading awhile back due to my 5 yr old. I thought this might be an idea. Just need to know if it's a good one or a bad one.

I love that. I have a horseshoe driveway with a little grassy area in the middle, I was looking to put something there, either a lighthouse or have a palm tree planted, I'm leaning more toward the palm tree because I'm thinking that lighthouse may not make it through a hurricane.

I got this one at a yard sale yesterday for 2 bucks, not a garden lighthouse, but it's tall enough to sit on the floor, I have it in the corner of my dining room, my entire dining and kitchen is done in lighthouses.

Very cute. Now I'm debating between lighthouses and wind mills. :jameo:

You should check out this website. There are a lot of great ideas on it. He's a local guy and he sometimes sells his products at that little place near Wentworth's on rte 4 in Prince Frederick. You know, the place with the wishing wells, wooden mailboxes, etc? He made an amazing wood lighthouse that was 7 ft tall. I fell in love with it last year but didn't buy it. It was in the somd classifieds.
