I have some friends that went to North Carolina to get their mastiff. You could try there or maybe a breed specific rescue group might have what you are looking for. Good Luck on finding a dog!!

If you want to purchase a Mastiff, I'd try the Mastiff Clubs for Maryland and surrounding areas. You will find good breeders. :yay: You may need to look for the specific type of Mastiff but here's one for starters.

lots of mastiffs in rescue everyday, people can't afford to feed them or house them... We get MANY pure bred Cane Corso mastiffs all the time..
IF you can afford the price of the dog w/o batting an eye and you AREN"t rich, you may be buying from a regular BYB that hasn't had any testing or anything done on the breeding stock.

Buy a barn shovel or manure fork for those mondo steaming doggy piles. I bet one of them craps bigger than my ponies do! HUGE land mines in the yard.

We have 2 english mastiffs. They are wonderful dogs. We also adopted one from the mastiff rescue a few years back. She was older though, they really do not get many puppies. But she was a blessing to have and we spoiled her the short 3 years we had her.
