:cds:

She walks around this house with a yellow tennis ball and if you hide it, she will find another one. She will drop her tennis ball in the hot tub whenever we are in it, shove it in your face if you are watching TV, cram it between your legs if you are on the computer... and this morning, something new... she dropped her ball in the bathtub...

WHILE I WAS TAKING A SHOWER.

She is obsessed with playing fetch. :jameo:

That is so funny.

My silly dog is attached to this toy lizzard, he takes it everywhere, even when he goes out to go potty. He was flinging it around by the tail yesterday and it went in the pool and he just about lost it becasue he won't go in the pool, but he'll get close to the edge and wait for the jets to bring it to him.

 It is rather cute that they can become so entertained by a toy and we cannot help but laugh at ours.... even when she brings us a tennis ball when we are in bed. :jameo:

A couple of years ago, I bought our cats some toy mice. 2-3 a.m., that brat male of mine would MEOW MEOW MEOW.... very loudly. Thinking he was hurt, I'd run down the steps only to find him standing over one of the toys... looking so proud! Needless to say, they all went in the trash. :lmao:

Our lab has issues with frisbees - she'll sleep with it in her mouth if she can. The boxer is obsessed with rocks.

bruno is obsessed with rope toys and rawhides. at my moms we have both and at my apt with I have both here for her too. she is so funny. if i go to sit on the couch next to her and shes got her rawhide she will try to hide it from me thinking i am out to take her toy from her which I would never do.

the only animal that doesn't sleep at night is shadow my youngest female cat she thinks that is when playtime is and she goes nuts and doesn't let me sleep much due to it.

Not exactly sure how this makes her OCD. Seems to me like she's just craving attention.

No, she is seriously obsessed with playing fetch.... It has nothing to do with some lack of attention. :lmao:

I don't get it... It must be some inside joke I was never privy to.

My friend's crazy dog greets you at the door with the ball in his mouth. "Hi! I love you! Throw the ball for me? " He will literally chase the ball as long as someone will throw it and I have never been able to outlast him, even when my arms are about to fall off.

WOW... I seriously thought that was a joke. :jameo: I have NEVER heard of a dog playing with big rocks like a ball. :lmao:

V,

This wouldn't be that friend of yours you said has a JRT? That is how our dog is... after awhile, you feel like you are throwing grapefruit. :dead:

When my brother was at Walter Reed they had a therapy dog like that. English labrador, I think. He was a huge sweetie, and when he wasn't chasing his tennis ball all over the rehabilitation room he was walking around and chewing on it. He ended up punching a hole in the ball so it was always filled with slobber so nobody would throw it for him. :jameo: I loved him.

Oh, if one could bottle up that energy and drink it everyday... what could be accomplished.... What *I* could accomplish...

Been there !!!! I have 2 that like to wrestle at 3 AM so even if they don't have toys they STILL are making noise. It's amazing how much noise cats can make with those padded feet!

My mom has a jackapoo that's obsessed with her ball as well. She'll even hide it for herself (under rugs and furniture) and go find it.

Nothing to do with craving attention. My rotty gets all the attention he could ever want - he is just obsessed with a tennis ball. Does the same deal as everybody else explained - will just walk up and drop the thing in my lap. If you look at him though and say "i don't want to play right now" he will go lay down....for a couple minutes at least. :lmao:
