May be a Phishing scheme. Did they ask you contact them, provide information, or "press x to talk to an agent"?

It's a scam. 2 of my relatives got them too. One was from PNC bank. Neither has accounts with them.

when your cards are compromised, they cancel your current card and send you a new one in the mail. happened to me with bank of america and they told me online and made sure i knew it was them. a phone call is a scam, ignore it

I got one also. It tells you to push 1 to re-activate your card. I didn't push it. My first thought was someone had my info and opened an account(s) with them under my name. I do not have an account with Cedar Point.

Since I don't have business with them I only listened to MAYBE 15 seconds of the call and hung up. So I have no idea what my "options" might have been....

I received a call saying that my card was no longer allowed to be used. I contacted the Visa customer service number on my banks website and they said my card was not deactived and my account was in good standing. I plan to contact my bank today and if they are closed due to the holiday, i'll call them tomorrow.

For all you who DO NOT have an account with CPFCU and have received these calls, I'm sure they would like to hear from you anyway. They may not be aware of the magnitude of this issue, and if you can provide any info, I'm sure it would be helpful.

Interesting, it doesn't seem like anyone that actually has a CPFCU account has gotten a call. I haven't. Are you all members of another credit union, like NFCU? In that case, you should also be making calls to them as members of that org could be the target.

I got my call at 3:22am this morning. I listened to the first few seconds and hung up. I haven't had an account with them in 10 years. I've had several "Unknown Number" calls in the past few weeks. Now I know what they were. I usually do not answer but at 3:22am I was livid enough to go the #### off.

Yep:

We are aware of the automated phone calls that some of our members have been getting. THEY ARE A SCAM. Hang up the phone and do not follow instructions given over the phone.

I just got the call on my cell. Number was 360/816-1864. I quick Goggle search brings me this:

Exteriors Design
11105 NE 14th ST Ste 102
Vancouver, WA 98684
Local: 360-816-1864

I wonder if the number has been spoofed.

Got a call from the same number minutes after you posted this. Do we still need to report these calls? Sounds like everyone is already aware of the problem and working to correct it.
