Went to Annapolis last weekend for the Sailboat Show. Weather was great, lots to see and do. Drooled over the Island Packet, one fine boat. Costs more than my house. Stopped and got lunch at Ruth and Chris' Deli, a pastrami on rye with Russian and kraut, then downtown for a gellato. Call me a happy camper.

But this is not why I'm posting. I stopped in a clothes store to get some new t-shirts. As I was looking around, I noticed a lot of references to Annapolis as Naptown. My first thought was, that's a stupid name.... makes you think everyone is napping... but as I thought about it more.... that makes people that live there Napheads. And that leads to Nappy Headed. You finish it out....

Did anyone actually think this Naptown name thru before calling themselves that?
