I've even seen the virtual fosters have links so you can make one time donations to help support dogs and rescue groups. Also the Save-a-Dog app makes donations to rescue groups.

It could be beneficial and surely can't do any harm. It's not a "friend" page - it's an application where people can virtually foster the animals and contact your organization in order to adopt.

By virtually fostering the animals, the word about available dogs gets spread. So far, two of my "virtual" fosters have been adopted and by participating in the app, I've helped raise money to be donated to shelters and rescues.

I took his bone away several times during the day and he wasn't aggressive at all. He also takes treats very gently!
