Just installed MS Office 2010 Technical Preview on my Win7 Netbook. It is a beautiful piece of software. Took what was great about 2007 and expanded on it. The biggest addition is integrated PDF creation. You can now create and modify PDFs as well as add comments, etc.. Can't wait for the final version.

I purchased the 2007 Ultimate Office Suite about 6 months ago and hate the new user interface that they for Word and Excel. I still prefer 2003's pull downs, as opposed to having to scroll through all those "pretty pictured" menus that 2007 uses.....
Did they change that for 2010?

It does look like a great new piece of software. It has taken features from many different appz and incorporated it into Office.
If it is that good i might upgrade from WordStar

You need a better OS then Win 3.1, I think.

Nope. Tabbed browsing, as opposed to drop down menus, is here to stay. It's all over Vista and even moreso on Win7. I like it. Much more organized. Just takes some getting used to.

I was looking for a 5 1/4 external so we could pull some old data off of some disks. I searched until I found a pallet (to be excessed) and in a box was about 6 of them, with the cardboard sleeve in the drive mechanism, never used...

No. I can't say where I got it from. Don't want to get anyone in trouble. I have heard that you can find it on torrent sites as well, although I never trust torrent sites for software.

I was going to say I have not seen it. We have heard it just got done with it's technical review/dog and pony show with internal MS. Damn, and I thought WE had the inside track on everything.

I use it all the time, just not for software. You just have to use common sense. I use uTorrent as my client. I run Peerguardian and Tor as security.
