Last night my living room television screen just turned neon green. We have turned in on and off unplugged it and all the stuff hooked to it etc. My best guess is that the picture tube has bit the big one. So then I tried to hook up my Wii to my bedroom TV which is a 42' on the wall. I had to put that sensor thing on top of the TV which is probably 7.5 to 8 foot up. Once I did that I could not get the Wii to pick up. Anyone here use a Wii with success on a wall mounted unit that has suggestions? I tried putting the sensor below the TV and that did not work. I am thinkng of taping it to the top at a downward angle. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcomed.

That's odd, we also have a 42" tv and we mounted ours on top of our dish receiver. It works just fine. The receiver is on the table beneath the tv. You could try a wireless bar, I have seen those on the net, not that expensive.

Well I broke out the WII box and dusted it off and got the manual out. It states that you can mount the sensor strip either on the top of the TV or the bottom. It states it should be aligned to the center of the TV and not below it. When I hooked it up to my wall mounted TV and put the sensor on top I got nothing. I am thinking because it is so high up that when we wave the remote we are still 2 feet lower than the sensor strip.

We just hooked it up in a kids room and it's working but the TV in the livingroom's pic is still neon green. You can listen to it though.
