The new Mac commercial does something similar.
The PC character gets younger and his clothes and hair change but he always says "THIS version is stable and doesn't have the problems of the previous release."

Off topic, but I was watch a movie the other night, Galaxy Quest, a comedy with Tim Allen and others.... there was a geeky sci-fi/spacenut/startrek kind of kid on the show, realized it was a much younger version of the "Mac" guy. A real nerd.

so basically Windows 7 is an upgraded version of Vista that fixes the bugs. I've heard great things about it so far. Vista is the biggest Microsoft disaster since...ME edition. Couldn't even go a decade

Maybe it'll shift the balance again. When the PC is doing good things, nobody cares for Apple. When PC is screwing up, everyone flocks to Apple. Seems like things will probably start to swap around again if 7 is as good as people claim.

I can personally say that Win7 is everything it is hyped up to be. I have been running it for a month (final retail version) on all of my computers. From my netbook to my gaming laptop to my workhorse of a desktop, it runs perfectly. It's fast, clean and beautiful. It truly is everything Vista should have been and so much more.
