Is there a place to turn in aluminum cans for cash. We'd like our grandkids to learn to be diligent about recycling and add to their college funds at the same time.

Yes, Waldorf Metal , off of rt 488 I believe. They also take
batteries and copper among other metals. No Steel.

And here I am paying someone to pick up my cans when I could be making $$$.... IDK if it's worth it, we don't drink canned soda/beer the only cans we use are sometimes canned beans or canned diced tomatoes.

They would be right on the South bound side of Rt 5 in Leonardtown after Leonardtown Center but before the hospital. Guy Distributors. Waldorf Metal is on Rt 488 about a mile in, I would be willing to bet Waldorf Metal gives better prices because they do much more of that type of business than Guy Distributors.

I don't think food cans will bring much as they are not aluminum.
