..and, by definition, insurance companies no longer exists because they couldn't, simply can't, compete with the government, which was the goal in the first place, will the government give all those people who lose their jobs and livelihoods new jobs and will they then get 'free' health care as well?

And, whose next?

They'll have news conferences saying that although unemployment is at 25%, they saved 300 million jobs. They'll also tell us that the stimulus is working just as they planned when they told us that it would keep unemployment below 8%.

They'll also point out all of the "shovel ready" projects they're funding - digging graves for those who die due to the decreased standard of care.

Maybe the Government will hire all those people laid off by the Private insurers.

The Government program is going to take a vast amount of people probably twice as many as will be laid off. Of course none of them will be hired unless the quota of affirmative action hires has been taken care of, but a few of them may be able to be retrained to the Gubmint way of doing things.
