For anyone about to replace a range hood vent. If you've got 7" round ducting, some vents are built to accomodate that vent 2.5" from the wall, while others place the vent 1.5" from the wall.
That inch makes a big difference. Found that out the hard way Saturday. Luckily it only involved one extra trip to Lowes, and 60 extra dollars. :banghead:

Thanks for the tip. Here's one for you: Do Not, I repeat DO NOT place and entire box of cooked spaghetti noodles in the garbage disposal at one time.

Halloween noodles are fine. Try it tonight and let me know what happens :yay:
Hehe, I brought "Scary Sketti and Brain Balls" to work Friday and it turns out I made too many noodles so I took 'em home. Saturday morning I noticed that I forgot to put the darn noodles in the fridge so I tossed 'em out. WHY I didn't just use the trashcan, no clue...there was a crap load of noodles so I should have

I am shocked that it took 20 whole minutes for somebody to comment on that. I set it up on purpose. :lmao:
Not surprised that it was a female that noticed, though.

Here's another tip.. when heating up the oil for fondu, don't leave it unattended. And when your husband puts a fire extinguisher in your hand and tells you to use it... don't just stand there in confused awe while gazing at your kitchen burning up.:whistle:
