To all Deer Hunters:
I wish you ALL THE BEST this season. Honestly, bag to your limit friends. I cannot believe how many deer there are sitting on the side of Rte 4 and Rte 2! Nope, haven't hit any deer in 10 years, but I'm still wishing you all knock down some of these tick infested, tall legged rodents. They're pretty, but they're dangerous.
Yes, we've encroached on their land. Yes, they're beautiful. Yes, they're cute little Bambies. Still, got to go? Got to go!
BLAM! Right on. If I were a farmer, I'd let you hunt, hunt, hunt, hunt, hunt.
Keep up the good work.
BTW... YES! I do eat venison. DELICIOUS. I love when the butcher calls and they have a nice little one for sale! Chili!
I agree, hit one myself. I hope it never happens again and for the hunters to shoot em up!
That first pic is a bit scary, I would #### myself if I was driving and all of a sudden got a deer looking me right in the eyes or next to me that close. :yikes:

I don't hunt Maryland anymore. No place left and the farmers don't want you on their land. I go to Ohio and usually bring at least one back.

Yes, we've encroached on their land. We drove out their "natural" predators, so we are obliged to fulfill that duty ourselves. The deer population is larger now than it was before any European colony got started. People need to fix that.

My deepest apologies to Huntr1.
It is illegal.
HOWEVER... it is "not" illegal to have a deer given to you and then to pay the butcher to butcher it. Hence, we's buys an entire deer (or split it with family).:dye:
mmmm, mmmmm. Love those calls. Chili all winter.

It is getting tougher to find good places, isn't it? I have one spot left myself but it is getting a little crowded now. No worries though, I'll get what I need to stock the freezer before this season is over.:yay:
And it is amazing how many anti-hunters turn pro-hunter after running one of those four legged critters over.

You need to change your wording.
You do not buy a deer. You are given a deer. You then pay the butcher to process it. You then split the meat with another person, who then reimburses you for their portion of the processing fees.
Stating it incorrectly can lead to aknock on your door from The Man.
