I know some people are going to prob laugh at me or jump on me here. But im kind of just giving a heads up for other people. A friend of mine referred Lorie from Band in a Box as a DJ for my wedding and she was horrible. I dont think anyone really noticed but i was soooo dissappointed since I had given her such a specific list and she had told us she had everything, and ending up playing completely different songs at our wedding. Just a warning!

Putting aside the photographer, because they are important for a different reason - for the older people, the food is generally the most important part of the wedding, and for the younger people, the DJ/band is. Sorry to hear that the latter was bad in this case - it makes such a HUGE difference for the event and how it is remembered.

she sucked. she was having numerous "technical difficulties" and cut off one of the dance songs...was it the father/daughter dance? I forget. And it was cut off by some retarded song that could be OK and some point, but it didn't seem at all to be the right time. She seemed more about wanting to dance/party with the rest of us than doing her job right. :loser:

we still enjoyed it because of the company, but she sure as heck coulda done alot better. never seen a DJ have so many issues before.

for the older people, the food is generally the most important part of the wedding, KVJ said they had good food for 4d

and for the younger people, the DJ/band is. Sorry to hear that the latter was bad in this case. Yea, KVJ lost out here.

I have you beat. My DJ had the best man give his speech prior to my wife and I getting into our reception. That's effed up. Why didn't he refuse and tell the DJ to screw off?

she was having numerous "technical difficulties" and cut off one of the dance songs...was it the father/daughter dance? :smack: That was 4d and KVJ's first dance.

I was kind of shocked when she started playing Beyonce's All the Single Ladies for your Father/Daughter dance! I thought it was an odd song to pick
