I'm looking at two different Ford trucks, one has the sync the other doesn't. Anyone have it, and what do you like/dislike about it?

An integrated audio/voice recognition system made by Microsoft, installed in newer Ford/Mercury products. You can use voice commands to dial the phone, play a CD, etc....

I bought into the microsoft zune when it first came out and have rented a few vehicles with sync....I actually bought a Zune for myself, wife and kid and after two years of waiting for peripherals to catch up to the IPOD offerings, I finally gave up and switch to apple products this holiday season.
My advice is to not pay for this option. Go to crutchfield.com and you'll find IPOD interfaces to most vehicles. The interface system allows you to keep all the factory stuff including steering wheel controls..since products such as the IPOD touch have thousands of applications available, some of them free and including voice recognition apps, you'll be much happier with this in my opinion.
