Look what I made! Luckily I made it while I was visiting my sister, so she was able to help me with the pattern. It was pretty easy once I learned the stitches! I used the Fuzzy Lamb Knitting Pattern (http://www.lulu.com/content/907313) by Barbara Prime (free pattern!).
It's nice to be learning to knit other things besides scarves. :lmao: I got kinda bored with those.

You should see the beautiful cable knit purse my daughter made for me this Christmas! She's already got 3 orders to make more.

I will soon! She made me a black one and the one she's making now is red. My mother took her to BBW to get some stuff to put in it and the ladies at the counter could not believe she made it. They told her she should make more and they'd sell them for her.. She doesn't have that kind of spare time tho...

How cute!! Which new knitting stitches did you have to learn? I started and finished one of these (http://a-friend-to-knit-with.blogspot.com/2008/09/toasttoasty.html) on the way to TN during Christmas break, but I haven't gotten around to starting the other one. For some reason it knitted inside out (using dpn's). No big deal because I just flipped it right side out when I was finished, but I can't for the life of me figure out how I managed to do that.

Those are cute! Did you do the one with thumbs or not?
I learned the "make one" stitch, the skpo (slip one over, knit one, then cast off one). Actually, those are the only ones I remember off the top of my head. But there was lots of increasing and decreasing.

Without thumbs - it seemed easier. I do want to do the ones with thumbs too.

Yeah, I just went and looked at my one-skein wonders book. The ones with thumbs sounded too hard to try right now.
