I'm watching this show about humming birds. I thought they lived on nectar alone. Not true according to this. They eat bugs. Amazing. I never knew how many different types of humming birds there are. When they fight, they are quite brutal (this I did know just from watching them at my feeders).

They really are. These people that take the time to study them are amazing. It's got to be a lot of work, those little suckers are fast and trying to keep up with their every move must be very difficult.

And, oddly, only in the American continent.

When the Hummers come to my feeders, I love hearing that lil chirping sound.
