After a power outage yesterday my sons Wii won't power up. No light, nothing. Anyone ever experience this and know a fix?

Did you go through the reset steps? You have to resync the remote with the Wii.

We had that happen before. The power outage seemed to blow the power cord. We bought a generic one off ebay for about 12 bucks and all was well.

Did you read the instruction booklet? You have to resync it. This happens after a power loss.

That happened to me.

Unplug the Wii from everything and let it sit for about an hour. Plug it back in and it should work again. If you have it on a USB, plug it into a different outlet than the one it was in before.
