From an email I got. Made my Michelin in South Carolina. No flats, no air, no leaks..... email said they were displayed at the Auto Show (??) and to look for them in August this year.

Any one else see this as a problem for the use of stop sticks??? And which vehicles will they most likely be seen on first?

Yea, pretty much renders stop sticks ineffective. That's about as ugly as you can get. Why don't they put side walls on it.

I'd expect the production versions to be enclosed. Without it, our recent weather would probably render them usless when they get clogged up with ice.

I can see them going out of balance easy too.

The Tweels have been in concept for about 5 years. Nice to see them close to production.

I Googled Michelin Tires, went to look for those tires just to see/read more about them, and could not find any mention of that model.......?

AS said, this sucker has been floating round for five years, but no, they are no closer to production. Dont know why, you would need to see the test results, but I have seen no indication that these are coming out any time soon.
