Can anyone make some suggestions for public meeting spaces in the Lexington Park/California/Hollywood areas? I'm involved in a board game group and we're looking to move out of someone's living room and find a public place so we can advertise and invite more people to join us.
We normally meet Friday evenings, but have been looking to possibly move to Saturdays. We'd be open to libraries (although we know they close earlier than we'd probably want), community centers, coffee shops, whatever.
Thanks in advance!

Hi! what kind of board games do you play?
I love board games unless I am playing Scategories with dn0121

We've been playing mostly Euro/German-style games thus far (Carcasonne, TransAmerica, Ticket to Ride) and newer American games (Betrayal at House on the Hill, Zombies), and more traditional American games from time to time (Rumikub), but that doesn't mean we're not open to the classics like Scrabble or Monopoly or whatnot. We're a pretty diverse group, and everyone's willing to try new things. :)

Oh, OK. I don't know most of those games. :-(

It's ok - no one did when we started! They're just new and different board games, and loads of fun. If you're interested, we have a group on Meetup.com you can join.
