Working on getting my private license and I wasn't sure where to put htis; hobbies or outdoors!

Now that I know how to land (know being what I am supposed to do as opposed to actually being able to do it in such fashion that the plane and I are still serviceable afterwards) I have a much deeper appreciation for carrier landings. I mean, I knew on final the runway is moving, the deck is heaving but I hadn't considered the angle of landing as well nor keeping your orientation to that moving runway on down wind.

It gets more interestering the more I learn!

Arm chair pilot.One of my favorite games used to be MS Flight Sim. I would do it for the views and because it's more or less a solo activity, though, not because I like to fly in of itself.
