what's going on? Tons of cop cars/firetrucks. The road is blocked off

Boy on bike was hit by a truck. The boy darted out from behind a school bus and was hit. Driver of truck stopped at scene. I'm not sure of the condition of the boy but I believe he only had minor injuries. The boy was very lucky that he did not get hurt more then he did since I believe he was not wearing a helmet. He was thrown about 10 feet from vehicle...even knocked his shoes off. But I believe he is ok.
