Might do that, need to find someone around here that has the right equipment. I've been reading up on it and not everyone has the hardware to do an out-of-motor cleaning. Price shouldn't be too bad if I take them out myself, save the labor charges.

No need to remove them, most repair shops can do in vehicle, high pressure injector cleaning fairly cheaply.

LR was feeling like it was missing, running on 7 of 8 cylinders.

Codes came back for Wires, Spark Plugs and ignition coils. Did the intrawebs research on the LR forums and they suggested just plugs (Bosch +4) and wires (MAgnecor 8mm) before I delved into the ignition coils. The coils would require tearing the top of the engine (the air intake plenum) off.

I did what they suggested and it runs like a champ now.

Looking at that too. Not always 100% effective in getting the 'like new' spray pattern. If they are out, you can clearly see which ones are not cutting it, and replace those. And if I get ambitious, I can get the injector cleaner kit and do it myself.

I've got 100K plugs and 90K on the motor, probably time for plugs/wires too. Good thought. The 4.8L GMC motor has one coil per cylinder, and each is mounted right where you can get at it. Pretty easy engine to work on, which is why I'm not hesitant to pull all the injectors and send them out. They are all in easy reach and easy to remove.

Lucas injector cleaner. Auto Zone, try that before you start pulling everything. Used it for years. Get a bump in mpg and smooths the engine out.
