Rocks. Just had the 10K and 15K service done (I was a little late on the 10K:lol:) for half what the Harley shop would have cost me.

There are about 25 points of service; Did they do everything required? (I'm talking about rear wheel alignment, spoke tightening, etc).

My 20K service was just over $800 and that's a crime!
Where are they located in Hollywood?
Thanks...

Yup, writes it on the back of the ticket and checks it off. Across from Toots next to Thompson's furniture

Great shop. They REALLY know their business. Build some awesome customs.

Remember what HD stands for: HIGH DOLLAR.
The parts alone cost $80 and that's just fluids, oil filter & small gaskets.
The service was done in 2008 and the rate was close to $695. They won't be doing any other service for me, don't worry...
I'll check with you when the 30k mile service comes around. Are you with a bike shop?

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

You'll never find your true "being one with the bike" unless you do your own maintenance.

But Hot Damn.. $700, $800 for services?? JFC.. I thought nobody liked BMW because they were expensive to maintain. I've never paid that much for a dealer service.. and I pay a hell of a lot less when I do it myself! (BMW dealerships actually sell compatible NON-BMW parts, filters and fluids!!!)

The only reason I let them do it was because of the extended warranty but, now that it has expired, I do it myself for the most part. Shop manuals are pretty good but not perfect and for a reason, I'm sure...

I did not know they shut down Buell. Too bad. Good bikes. Surprised they didn't spin it off.

I think they had a lot of potential and were going in the right direction anyways..

Hopefully we haven't seen the last of him.

Easy easy easy on the V-ROD, I absolutely LOVE mine!!!!

Now, on to the business at hand. I have only used Jeff at JAAGS since buying my bike. He is everything you would want in a mechanic. He is honest, fair, reasonable, and will not hide a thing from you. Before doing any additional work he will show you exactly what needs to be done and why, he will also be honest in letting you know rather it needs to be addressed now, or you can wait.

I don't know about you, but most mechanics now-a-days are all about trying to make a dollar. I do not see that in JAAGS, I see a shop that wants you to keep coming back. Why make a grand off of you once, if they can make 4 grand off of you over the life of your bike???

I highly recommend checking JAAGS out for any work that your bike might need!!!!

And again, take it easy on the V-ROD!!!

Be Safe out there!!!!

You should join BMWBMW, a lot of Euro bikes in the club other than BMW.
