Sorry, mAlice and Dye - in good conscience, I have to share with the class.
What a nice little slice of heaven! Sitting on that deck, under the shade of the big tree, with a beautiful view of the creek couldn't have been any more pleasant. We just had drinks and appetizer, but we're all looking forward to going back for food.
Our servers were Rachel and Blair (or Blaine?), and they could have easily forgotten about us since we were the only ones on the deck. But oh no - here they came at appropriate intervals to see if we needed more beers, water, etc. Very attentive.
If you go down there, DO NOT take our table!!!!!

Well, since you let the cat outta' the bag...the rockfish nuggets were...plain. Not interesting enough to finish. Small portion, 10 bucks.
That said, I had a great time, reiterate what vrai said, and look forward to returning and trying something else from the menu.

I know, right. Now we'll just have to hang out in the Secret Garden. But, that's a good thing.

Yes, it is a good thing with limited parking and seating for just a few :lmao:

Nah, it so far off the beaten path that people will still go to CIP to enjoy their luxurious view of 235. Or crowd into the Olive Garden for their AYCE breadsticks.

At least we know the food won't be disappointing.

Last time I was there was over 10 years ago. I just never think of heading down there.

Even if the food isn't all that, I still like having a few beers with friends on the deck. I can live with something simple from the menu, like a burger or some kinds of sandwich. It's just nice a nice place to hang out.

THAT I would agree with.. BEAUTIFUL area, and yes, a great place to hang out and have a beer or six.

Went for dinner couple of weeks ago on a Thursday night. I had the Alfredo and hubby had the Seafood Club. Thought both were yummy. Looked like Thursday is pizza night, and the pizzas they were bringing out looked good!
(the brownie was yummy, too!)

Went for the breakfast buffet a couple weeks ago. Good selection of food for the price. $8.00 for adults, I think? Anyhoo, as I was saying, the food was good and plentiful. My only real nitpick would be that some of it (biscuits, cinnamon rolls, sausage patties) were obviously prepackaged, grocery store stuff. Not saying it wasn't good. Just saying.

Down past me. I don't like the food. I've never had an oustanding meal there. Service is good. View is nice. I'd rather go to Courtney's or Schieble's.
