You guys are terrible att his. As soon as you remember call somewhere that takes reservations, and make them..for the very next day. Then buy her some jewelry. The next day tell her you have a surprise...she will still be mad at you but if you look excited enough she will go with you. Take her to dinner..make sure she hears you say you have reservations. Sit her down, order a glass of something alcoholic and give her the jewelry lovingly explaining that you wanted her to be surprised so you waited till the day after, that you are sorry your terrible idea backfired and please accept these diamonds.
