I would like to make a motion.. (is that allowed in a vraiocracy? :killingme)

that is..can you pleasssssse make it so Themis, clem_shady, Tigerbug, the_truth, Focus_facts, and whoever else is unable to start a thread? let them answer in other threads if it is on topic..but the bajillion threads all the say the same thing, have the same dopes argueing in it...and are what I am pretty sure about 30889459034 reincarnations of the same two people. It would sure make the boards prettier :howdy:

Won't happen; she likes scrapping with them. I agree with you, although I'll bet most of them are actually separate people. Like Clem and Themis are individuals, but are probably sitting next to each other as they post.

I would suggest their own forum, but they essentially have that now. They haven't posted much at all in the News or Politics forums. So they'll be a collective nuisance until the first of November... then that forum will sit dormant for about a year and a half.

At which time, the Great Cusick will make his next scheduled appearance...

Actually I like to watch the various sides go back and forth. It's refreshing that a certain newspaper man now has rebuttal and debate.

I didn't buy that poor excuse for a newspaper for a reason, I didn't like his opinions or style, now I have to see the same crap here. The upside is at least he can't add the comic book colors that the rag had.

But it seems like it's all MPDs of one person that just likes to argue with themselves hoping someone different will jump in. After the first few, I just don't even open the threads anymore.

Kind of surprised that they have slacked off of humiliating people with DWI's within the past few years. They used to be all about that.

I like how the inflammatory word of the week is "caper" a la the -gate scandals...
Newspaper Caper
Firehouse Caper

It's amusing to see what they keep coming up with.

I have been asking for sometime to you and your friends to stop attacking me about the things I write against Fritz, and Whites actions in this affair I Had already annoyed the regular forum members with my fragmented rants on the subject. You, and your friends assumed that I was Brown, or Mattingly and started accusing me of being one of them right from the start with your very first response. When I told you i wasn't one of them , you started making personal attacks against them. The four of you have managed to work your way through almost every one in Brown's Family that I know of and disrespectfully accused them of being me.I have never met Ken Rossignol(Clem Shady), or Mattingly's Cousin Shane, who seems to be the latest person some of you want to attack. Your friends post anything down to traffic tickets that Brown has ever gotten. You don't seem to find any legal problems for John except the stuff he just got out of, and the lawsuits FocusFacts, and the others filed. I answered your post this morning(how much time should terry clarke get) with my thoughts on the subject respectfully. I would really prefer to be able to do that with all of my responses to people who disagree, with my point of view, or have a question about why I feel the way I do when I make a statement. Let the lawsuits play out in court because just like the criminal charges there are two sides to every story, and I'm sure the results of the suits will be decided by whichever party tells the most believeable story and backs their story up with the most believeable evidence. If you want to continue commenting onthings I write as The-Trruth, and stop saying I'm somebody I'm not and attacking me personally I won't have a problem with that, in fact I would enjoy it. If you want to continue the way we've been going, I can deal with that too. I don't think we'll accomplish much except keeping Vrai, and Clem entertained, and continue to make ouselves look like fools to everyone else.

Clem Shady (Rossignol), sometimes to my dismay, likes to keep stirring things up as he did this morning because thats what he does. Do not let him confuse you into thinking I agree with that side of him.

Well, I *am* highly entertained. And other forumites talk incessantly about things I don't give two figs about. So they'll just have to deal when someone talks about something that doesn't interest them.

I' m new to this. Has local politics always been this theatrical here?
I'm glad you're enjoying this, as I'm sure Clem is. I didn't mean to become part of tabloid forumism when I started this thing that has turned into what it has become. You warned me from the beginning that I sounded like a kook, now I feel like a kook magnet because I have attracted so many kooks to fight with. I am sorry that I have given them licence to slur so many peoples names who are not responsible, or involved in this affair. I don't think these non involved folks would be very amused to see themselves talked about the way they have been by people trying to discredit me. I would much prefer letting Clem take the lead and deal with personal attacks that don't have anything to do with whatever subject is on the table at any given time. He's pretty good at staying on subject when he directs his rebuttals(harsh as they mat be) at the individuals intended, and not the phone book. I personally like Clem because he has pretty firm opinions on the things he talks about. I think he will be around for quite a while doing battle for different causes, and he's very ingenious with some of the things he comes up with. He's much better at it than I am. Just like no one would admit buying the St Mary's Today, but they did if for no other reason than to see what Rossignol would be up to next. I think a lot more people have kept track of our circus than will admit it.I know I would if I was on the outside looking in. Just like in the "Rag" when you peel back the personal opinions , a lot of truth falls out in the things he talks about.
Like it or not.

Many times that is true. It's his manner of expressing himself that waters down the message and turns people off.

Like it or not.Thing is, people get tired of having to peel back 80 - 90% tabloidisms to find whatever truth may be there. When you see someone like Rossignol who can not accurately gauge appropriateness and who has the personal judgment deficiencies he has, it calls into question everything else he says or does.

What has irritated me about all the Elections forum goings-on is the ridiculous repetitiousness of it; most every thread turns into the same "I'm better than you" squabble. Pre-Primary, that was bothersome because there were other issues and candidates on the scene besides those you talk about. Now it seems generally silly to watch you guys chasing your tails, but whatever sparks your fire is good, I guess.

QUOTE=hvp05;4392810At least you can admit that much. :yay
Thats why shortly after I started this and people complained so much about the way I was ranting almost insanely, that I stepped back because I was having an opposite effect on some people than I wanted to have.
Clem makes a statement then defends it passionately.

I honestly think he felt that was the only way he could sell enough papers to survive being basicly a one man opreration in a world of papers that were owned by some huge corporations. He learned quickly how to avoid having to take responsibility for the accusations against people that he embelished so dramatically so that he could sell papers, and not get sued into oblivion in the process. He said himself and never denied that his paper was anything other than a tabloid, and you have to admit that unlike the other local papers he never feared taking on any story he thought people wanted to hear despite the critisism, and ridicule he suffered. When he dished dirt on local politicians and they were questioned about the articles
the standard reply was "you can't believe anything you see in the RAG" His stytle of Tabloid jouralism worked for him for over 21 years, and when he decided to give it up it was his choice, not because the paper shut down.
I don't know much about his paper before the infamous Paper Caper but it would have bee intersting to see if Fritz had reacted differently to a head line that read "Fritz convicted of having sex with underage girl".
I still think the paper caper would have occurred because fritz knew the truth about what happened when he was 18 years old.
He is still proving today that he doesn' react well to his dirty laundry getting uncovered.

I'm still the amatuer in this. Clem is a professional arsonist when it comes to peoples emotions.

Cable news should come with a warning:

I promise to tell the truth, the partial truth, and only the truth that supports my opinion.

Judging by the condition of the Elections forum, the 'boys' have taken your comments as a command performance to be totally and unabashedly stupid.

Oh. please, enough! Uncle! Every time I click on "new posts" it seems like there are 10 more! Can I put an entire category on "ignore"? I'd put certain posters on "ignore" but if someone else posts in their thread it shows up anyway. I"m about ready to give the Forums a rest for a couple of weeks -- this is getting ridiculous!

(edit -- 17 out of 20 on a page! That's it! I'm out for a while. Enough is enough! Small SLAM!)
