I think this is a sweet song. It should be sang at someones funeral, or celebration of life. It really has touched me.
Very emotional right now.

Urp.
Not nearly as inspiring as:
Crucify the so called lord
He soon shall fall to me
Your souls are damned your God has fell
To slave for me eternally
Hell awaits...

Well you asked
Oh, I know and I respect your answer. It's my fault that I expected some more from you.
It's just me, feeling like everyone I know that has died, deserves to hear this song.

Here is a tribute song that brings comfort to me and brings tears to my eyes each and everytime I hear it.... It was sung at the funeral of Melvin Franklin (of the Temptations) by Smokey Robinson.... this is a scene from the movie...
caveat... you have to like Smokey Robinson to truly appreaciate the song.

Oh, I know and I respect your answer. It's my fault that I expected some more from you.
And here's another opinion of mine... I believe that the choice of a tribute song is personal... I could see Vrai chosing that song for Larry at his passing ...:larry:
My brother was appalled that sis and I wanted to add, "Return to Sender" on the tribute music CD for our father, but dad was a huge Elvis fan and had a great sense of humor so we thought it was a great idea... each to their own, huh...

yes, you're right. To each his own.
I can't expect everyone to have the sentimental feelings that I do. If that were the case, we'd all be robots.
I'm really at a different place today.

YouTube - "Angels In The Room" By The Ruppes (FULL) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOqo3KbhI-E)
ANGELS IN THE ROOM
She’s close to death , but she is not afraid
Angels waiting for the order, to carry her away
They’re gathered around her bed side
She’s the only one who sees
She will draw her final breath , and away with them she’ll leave
Angels in the room , she’s run her final race
They come to carry her to heaven
there to see her savior’s face
Angels in the room, to take her to a great reward
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in the room
He’s not long for this world, there’s a better one to come
He’s thinkin about that great reunion , with the father and the son
His family by his bedside, he says children can’t you see
Angels standing all around us, it’s time for me to leave
Angels in the room, he’s run his final race
They come to carry him to heaven
There to see his savior’s face
Angels in the room, to take him to his great reward
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in the room
When it comes a time for leaven
And you see the fights are long
You won’t have to worry friend
You won’t be alone
Angels in the room, when you run your final race
They will carry you to heaven
There to see your savior’s face
Ooh.. Angels in the room, to take you to your great reward
No need for sadness or gloom, they’ll be angels in the room
No need for sadness or gloom, there are angels in the room

This song was in the movie "Pay it Forward" w/Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey. I knew the title sounded familiar. Pretty song and it was sang as a memorial tribute at the end of the movie.

Paradise City
"Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is green
And the girls are pretty
Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)"
Sounds like Heaven to me.
Ear plugs will be handed out at the door of my funeral/bonfire/bbq/beer and metal fest. Then we'll just have to crank it to eleven so they can feel the music running through them. Literally.

Playing this song at a funeral would serve no other purpose than to make the death toll rise.
